In comparison with Taiwan , the artistic condition in PengHu is less satisfactory. There are few museums, social education halls, and performance venues in the county. Bureau of Culture turns out to be the only organization of humanities and art. There are two indoor galleries and one performance venue for formal performances. However, there is no outdoor area for performance and exhibition up to now. In view of this, it is planned that the plaza outside the performance venue and the open space outside the ZhungXing Gallery will be connected with ErDai Art Center and Science Museum to create a Culture Park , providing a place for outdoor activities, as well as for people to repose. By so doing, the Bureau aims to upgrade the quality of life and of taste of art of residents. We wish to create the Culture Park as the focal site of culture and recreation.

The Culture Park includes: Entrance Section, Art Pathway Section, ZhongXing Gallery Section, Outdoor Performance Section, Children's Amusement Section, Greenwood Pathway Section, Culture Plaza Section, Fountain Section, Performance Entrance Section, Sculpture Park Section, Plants Section, Illumination Section, and Garage Section. After the construction is completed, the existing performance facilities are expected to be incorporated with the outdoor instruments for people to relax and recreate in addition to appreciate performances. Cars are prohibited to enter Culture Park in the hope of ensuring security and offering a free place for people to enjoy art.
